This meeting is for early birds... most Thursday mornings 6am – 7am. Open to people of all levels of flexibility and strength and a wonderful way to start your day. A gentle yoga flow which focuses on breath, meditation and gentle stretches.
We try to witness (in the style of Kripalu Yoga) the breath, sensations in our body, thoughts all in the light of the Compassionate Witness: Jesus. He is our compassionate witness and we give ourselves to Him throughout the practice.
Typical class is led by Heather. Begins with scripture reading and prayer, then centering, chant "Amen". Instruction of breathing techniques and warm-ups, 3-4 easy yoga postures, 10 minute relaxation, 5 minute closing mediation/prayer.
Mats, blankets and props are all provided and the class is free!
